Storage system
The La-sad sp z.o.o. group of fruit producers is prepared to meet the highest requirements for fruits cooling. Apples are stored in a dynamically controlled atmosphere with a fruit control system made by the Dutch Besseling company (one of the first few sites in the world installed in 2013).
Storage in an atmosphere with an extremely low oxygen level is a good solution largely eliminating storage disease. It also allows to store fruits longer without much loss of quality. Sensors in the Fruit Observer system indicate the lowest possible level of O2 concentration in a continuous system.
Additional features are:
- continuous measurement of maturity
- continuous measurement of firmness
- the ability to detect internal defects in a fruit
Firm's database storage is about 9000 tons. Thanks to that apples are available from the company practically throughout the year.
